How to read a GPI score.

Seven pillars, 55 datapoints, one index from 0 to 100. What sits behind the number and how to use it to decide.

A GPI score is a number from 0 to 100, but its value lies in what sits beneath it. Every point comes from public signals anyone can verify.

The seven pillars

  • P1 Purpose & Impact and P2 Career Growth weigh 18% each.
  • P3 Work-Life Integration and P4 Diversity & Inclusion weigh 14%.
  • P5 Transparency and P6 Innovation weigh 13%.
  • P7 Reality Check weighs 10% and checks consistency between what is claimed and what shows.

The benchmark is your sector

Each pillar is normalised against comparable companies. A 70 in manufacturing and a 70 in tech do not tell the same story, which is why rubrics are calibrated by sector.

How to use it

The composite score tells you where you stand. Pillar scores tell you what to do: where you lose ground to competitors, which signals are missing, which claims lack evidence. It refreshes every quarter, so every action can be measured.
